Singer Yonatan Razel was released this morning (Friday) from Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center to his home in good condition, after being hospitalized for several weeks following a cerebral hemorrhage.
Razel's hospitalization, as is customary in cases of cerebral hemorrhage, included extensive and supportive care from the teams in the Shaare Zedek Brain Unit: medical and nursing teams from the Neurological Intensive Care Unit led by Dr. Stefan Mausbach, in collaboration with the team from the Neuroradiology Unit under the direction of Dr. Yaakov Amsalem, as well as the team of doctors and nurses from the Neurosurgery Department headed by Dr. Nevo Margalit.
Thanks to the rapid and professional diagnosis and treatment that Razel received immediately upon his arrival at Shaare Tzedek, and the care provided throughout his hospitalization, he returned to normal and full functioning.
""We congratulate Jonathan and his family on their release from the medical center and wish him good health and continued creativity and contribution to our cultural world," the hospital said in a statement.
The Razel family: "We are filled with gratitude to God for the visible miracles that have been bestowed upon us. Many thanks to the wonderful people of Israel for their prayers and concern for Jonathan's well-being. And last but not least, a big and special thank you to the entire staff of Shaare Zedek Medical Center, the doctors and nurses, for their dedicated care.".
