Baruch Dayan, the true judgeThe young man Yishai Gamliel, 19 years old, died suddenly this evening (Thursday) after collapsing in his grandfather's house in Bnei Brak.
The deceased, z"l, was born to his father, Rabbi Shmuel Gamliel, and his mother, Yaffe Emmanuel. He is the grandson of the Gaon Rabbi Eitan Gamliel of Shivlechata, rabbi of the Yemenite community in Elad, and the great-grandson of the Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Gamliel zt"l.
In his youth, he studied at the Da'at Hochma Yeshiva on Dvora Hanevi'a Street in Bnei Brak.
Towards evening, he collapsed at the home of his grandfather, the Gra Gamliel, in the Shikun V neighborhood in Bnei Brak.
The rescue forces called to the scene performed CPR on him, and evacuated him, while continuing CPR, to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer, where he died of a heart attack.
Paramedics Eliyahu Partosh and Menachem Singer, who arrived first, said: "When we arrived at the scene, we found a 19-year-old man unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing after collapsing in his home. We performed CPR on him, and he was evacuated while continuing CPR for further treatment in the shock room at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.""
His funeral will take place tomorrow - Saturday evening.
