A heated confrontation developed last night (Monday) on the program "Moriah and Barko" on Channel 13 - between presenter Eyal Berkowitz and a young Haredi who served in the paratroopers named Dolev Davidovich, a resident of the Haredi neighborhood in Ganei Ayalon.

""It's a bit ironic that people are sitting here, one of whom was a sergeant major and one of whom is a graduate of Galei Tzahal, and they are preaching to us," said Davidovich in a discussion that dealt with the Haredi demonstrations against the arrest of deserters.

Leftist Yariv Oppenheimer responded: "Did you even serve in the army?" - and Davidovich replied: "I served in the paratroopers.".

At this point, Berkowitz became furious: "Stop a moment. Dolev, thank you very much. You are asked to leave the studio.".

Davidovich wondered: "Is this the level? You stepped on the wart a little..."'

Berkowitz replied: "Yes, you are asked to leave the studio, I don't feel like talking to you. Get out, get out of here, for me you are not a Jew.".

Davidovich sneered: "If you call me a non-Jew, I'll call you a sergeant major.".
