Tragedy: Rabbi Moshe Tzraf, head of the Shir LeMa'alot kollel in Kfar Saba, collapsed this evening (Sunday) at the wedding of his grandson at the Keter Rimon Hall in Bnei Brak with the daughter of Mayor Elad, Yehuda Butbul.
The 76-year-old grandfather collapsed while standing for evening prayers, a few minutes after blessing the bride and groom.
The rescue forces called to the scene performed CPR on him, and then he was taken to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, where the doctors were forced, to their horror, to declare him dead.
The deceased, zt"l, lived in Bnei Brak, and was one of the rabbis of the central Sephardic synagogue in the Ramat Elhanan neighborhood.
His sudden passing in the midst of family joy shocked the family members and those celebrating the wedding.
