At the Hebron Givat Mordechai Yeshiva, a Siyum Shas ceremony was held this week, taught by members of the Third Council, for the repose of the soul of the mother of one of the members of the group, Mrs. Naomi Dotan, may God have mercy on her, from Los Angeles.
The ceremony, held on Thursday in a hall owned by the Yeshiva Ra'an, was attended by the yeshiva's rabbis, the superintendent, Rabbi Chaim Shaul Tzitzik, the gaon, Rabbi Moshe Greenbaum, and the graduating yeshiva students.
The event was opened by one of the young men, who stood up to the task of completing and concluding the Shas specifically on these days of the eve of the giving of the Torah, when the words receive additional reinforcement in the face of the wonderful dybbuk of friends that integrates with the words of the verse "And Israel established itself against the mountain" - which is said against these days.
At this point, the young man was honored by Zvi Morgenstern to conclude the Shas in honor of the mother of one of the group members, who was unable to attend the ceremony - as he had gone for a short strengthening session at a yeshiva in the US, and due to the prevailing situation in Israel and the world, he decided to participate in the graduation remotely.
Afterwards, those present stood up for a mitzvah of joy dance.
Speeches on the honor of the deceased's status and dignity were delivered by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Tzitzik, one of the supervisors of the Hebron Yeshiva, who emphasized the dignity of the graduation and the immense elevation of the soul that the deceased is entitled to, and the dignity of the mutual guarantee that the members of the group took upon themselves at the conclusion of the Shas.
Towards the end, the participants enjoyed a special and immersive "Zitz", conducted by the owner of the laser super player, accompanied by singer Shimi Kaplan.
