The main lighting ceremony, held by the Bnei Brak Religious Council, headed by Yechiel Levy, took place last night (Monday) with the participation of Torah scholars and eminent figures and thousands of Bnei Brak residents.
The event was attended by a member of the Council of Torah Sages, the Hagar Mahfoud, the Hagar Hacham Nissim ben Shimon, the city rabbi, the Hagar Ben Shimon, the Hagav Dag, the Hagar Silman, the Hagar Levy, the Hagar Weiss, a member of the Council of the Chief Rabbinate, the Hagar Kanievsky, the Hagarn Ben Senor, the Rosh Yeshiva of Benin Zion, the Posk, the Hagar Fried, and more.
Among the participants were also deputy mayors, members of the factions, and the head of the Religious Council, Rabbi Yosef Bar Sheshet.
The event was graced by singers Avi Ilson and Zanvil Weinberger, accompanied by Israel Sosna's orchestra and the Nesma Choir.
