The prices of regulated dairy products are updated in accordance with the regulatory order, which establishes an automatic mechanism based on a fixed formula. The mechanism takes into account changes in production costs, as reflected in input and price indices, and does not require ministerial signatures.
The need for an update is reviewed on April 1, based on price index data, and if an update is found to be required, it goes into effect the following month, i.e., May 2026.
The results of the periodic price calculation showed that the prices of dairy products under consumer supervision should be updated at a rate of 1.05%+.
The main part of the update stems from a retroactive component of approximately +1.28%, the increase was moderated by a decrease in the current component of -0.23% relative to the previous update.
The current component was affected by a decrease in the price of raw milk of approximately -0.6%, an increase in the consumer price index of approximately +2%, and an increase in the wage index of approximately +0.9%.
