Hanoch Seibert, the mayor of Bnei Brak, called an emergency meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) in the city council hall, with the participation of all the directors of Torah schools in the city.
The meeting, which unites all groups and communities in Bnei Brak, will be held with the participation of the acting mayor, deputies and assistant mayors, who represent a unified and determined urban front.
The conference is being held in light of the painful phenomenon of burning waste and vegetation within the city limits by children studying Torah, which causes suffering to residents who suffer from the smoke.
According to the municipality's announcement, "One of the city's rabbis will speak at the center of the conference, and he will present to the administrators personal and painful testimony about the danger involved, the suffering for the residents, and the blasphemy resulting from it.".
The municipality notes that "the conference is intended to formulate and present to the managements of the institutions the educational cooperation to eradicate the phenomenon of arson, with the aim of preserving the education of Israeli children in a dedicated way and the security of the residents of the entire city.".
