London police have launched an investigation after Jewish-owned businesses were set on fire on Saturday night in the Hendon neighborhood - a Jewish neighborhood located in the northwest of the British capital.

Police were called to the scene at 10:31 p.m. following reports of a fire.

An Islamist group calling itself 'Ashab al-Yamin' claimed responsibility for the arson - and released a documentary video.

The video released by the organization documents a man lighting bottles in a plastic bag and filming the building going up in flames while fleeing the scene.

The group has claimed responsibility for six attacks since the beginning of April - including the launch of drones at the Israeli embassy on Friday morning.

The investigation is being led by the Metropolitan Police's Counter-Terrorism Unit, but the incident is not being treated as a terrorist attack at this stage.

No arrests have yet been made.
