An hour before the ceasefire: Eight people were injured to varying degrees in Nahariya and Karmiel - which suffered heavy barrages of missiles and drones.
The most difficult scene was in the Karmiel area: a young man of about 25 years old, a motorcycle rider who worked as a courier for the Volt company, did not have time to reach a protected area when the alarm sounded and was hit by interception fragments and shrapnel.
A 17-year-old girl who was in the area was also seriously injured.
The two were evacuated to the trauma unit at the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya along with five anxiety victims.
MDA paramedic Maor Barko said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man about 25 years old lying on the floor, unconscious and suffering from serious injuries to his body after being injured by interception fragments. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in serious condition.""
In Nahariya, several falls were identified that caused heavy fires in vehicles and property. A man in his 40s was moderately injured by shrapnel and was also taken to the hospital.
Fire and rescue teams from the Zevulun and Nahariya stations worked for a long hour to control the flames at the crash sites in the urban area.
In total, over 30 launches were detected towards Nahariya and Karmiel and surrounding communities in the recent barrages, along with a number of unmanned aerial vehicles, some of which were intercepted.
Fire and rescue services reported vehicle fires as a result of falls in Nahariya. Fire and rescue teams are working in the area.
""As a result of the force of the blast, several windows in nearby buildings were damaged and three vehicles were hit by shrapnel and began to burn.".
"Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the fire that broke out in the vehicles and disconnected energy sources to prevent further dangers," the Fire Department said.
At the same time, fire crews are conducting scans of nearby buildings to rule out the presence of additional casualties and additional sources of fire.
""We call on the public to obey the Home Front Command's instructions and stay away from areas of collapse to allow security and rescue forces to do their job.".
The IDF announced that its forces were attacking the launchers from which Hezbollah launched rockets toward the north.
