The forces of Brigade Combat Team 769 are working to clear the area of Hezbollah's terrorist infrastructure, while encountering terrorist squads attempting to carry out attacks from difficult terrain.
During the operational activity, fighters from Collection Unit 869 identified two separate attempts by terrorist squads to carry out an attack against IDF forces.
The terrorists, who were identified hiding in a thicket of bushes, were eliminated in a short time: one cell was destroyed by a precise drone attack, and the second cell was eliminated in close cooperation with the Air Force.
In parallel with the elimination of the terrorists, the forces continued extensive searches for weapons. During the searches, a hidden underground weapons depot was uncovered, containing a large amount of military equipment and ammunition.
Among other things, dozens of mortar bombs, anti-tank rockets, RPG rifles, and Kalashnikov-type weapons were found at the scene.
