Thousands of worshippers entered Joseph's Tomb in Nablus, Samaria, last night (Thursday). The entry took place as part of the regular entrances of the Samaria Regional Council, with the assistance of volunteers from the council's Joseph's Tomb and Holy Places Administration, and with the escort and security of IDF forces from the Samaria Brigade, along with the Border Guard and the Israel Police.
Among those who entered were the Rabbi of Viznitz, Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager, the head of the Samaria Council, Yossi Dagan, the commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Kobi Heller, the commander of the Samaria Brigade, Colonel Ariel Gonen, the officer of the Central Command, Lieutenant Colonel Elitzur Trabelsi, members of bereaved families and thousands of worshippers from across the country.
The visit of the Rebbe's eldest son sparked great excitement among Hasidism, because about ten years ago the Rebbe himself came to visit Joseph's Tomb - and in addition, he placed a mezuzah at the entrance to the Zion building.
The rabbi Chaim Meir Hagar said at the grave: "I want to bless the residents of the area, who have the right to build the Land of Israel, thanks to the fact that we can come to Joseph's tomb. May God help you to have only good things: spiritually and physically. And because you protect us, the people of Israel, may you also be protected and you will have only joy and no problems. And everything will be at ease until we are redeemed by eternal redemption soon in our days, Amen.".
The head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, said: "We, all of us, on behalf of all the residents of Samaria, bless the honorable Rabbi, and the Rebbe - may he receive complete healing, with the help of God. Thanks to your holy prayer here, thanks to the fact that we are together, connected to the Torah, connected to our people and connected to our land, the Holy One, blessed be He, will bless the people of Israel with victory and protection. The Holy One, blessed be He, will grant us the privilege of adding Torah, and the settlement of the land, and unity among us, with the help of God.".
