Maran HaGarad Lando arrived today (Wednesday) for a special strengthening journey to Jerusalem, during which he carried the main burden at the annual conference of 'Lev Laachim' at 'Binyanei Ha'uma'.
From there, the Rosh Yeshiva continued to the central synagogue, 'Chazon Ish', in the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood, where a special ceremony of honoring the Torah and 'Ritcha Da'Oriyata' was held.
In the main message, Rabbi Lando said: "The people of Israel have been in a time of confusion and war for quite some time now. Torah students are being persecuted by the enemies of religion and the legal authorities in an unprecedented way, but the ray of Torah is rising in a wondrous way in hearts. Yeshiva halls and kollels are multiplying as usual, with tens of thousands of Torah students studying with dedication and commitment, despite many difficulties and increasingly strict decrees. And all of us, by praying and striving to increase the number of Torah students, will increase even more.
""The people in the fields thirst for the word of God, the people of Israel even from afar admire and appreciate the Torah and the Torah, some secretly in their hearts and many, many of them even openly, and all this despite the stubborn war of the legal and media authorities, and unfortunately their declared and evil desire to banish the Torah from Israel, would it not have been.
