Another embarrassing incident for former US President Joe Biden: During an event at Syracuse University, he mistakenly invited a member of the Mossad's board of trustees to come on stage and speak - after thinking it was Barack Obama.
In footage from the embarrassing incident, Biden is seen stopping his speech to university students and faculty, pointing at the man in the audience - and calling out to him: "Barack, what are you doing there? Come here!""
Biden did not content himself with calling out Obama's name, but insisted that the man - an African-American man sitting in the front rows - join him at the podium.
According to eyewitnesses, the man tried to signal to Biden that he was wrong, but the former president continued to urge him: "Don't be modest, Barack, I know it's you.".
It was only after the man came on stage and whispered his name that Biden realized his mistake. He tried to joke about the situation, telling the audience: "Well, he just looks good the way he is.".
Biden's political opponents - whom the left wanted to see elected to another term - were quick to use the incident as further evidence that the man was unfit.
On the other hand, Biden's associates claimed that the lighting in the hall was poor and that it was human error.
