The search efforts for 17-year-old Avraham Yeshayahu Spiegel, who has been missing since last Friday afternoon on Sanz Beach in Netanya, continue this morning (Wednesday), with the opening of the sixth day of the operation.
During the evening and night hours, the commander of the special units at ZAKA, alongside all emergency forces, worked to conduct an in-depth analysis of the search area, using advanced technological means and tools.
Following the findings of the analysis and scans that were performed, it was decided to focus efforts on a rocky area in the depths of the sea, where there is a high probability of finding the missing person.
From early morning until noon, the diver unit, the drone unit, and teams with jet skis will be operating at the scene, in a combined and precise effort to scan the defined area, while delving deeper among the rocks and at difficult access points.
During the night, ZAKA volunteers from the Sharon Region - Netanya team and volunteers from the Jeep Unit, along with other volunteers, continued foot searches along the coastline, in continuous and intensive activity.

This morning, we are deploying combined forces – divers, drones and jet skis – to exhaust every point in the area and locate the missing person.""
Earlier tonight, the brother of the missing man, the late 21-year-old Issachar Dov Spiegel, who was pulled from the sea after drowning with his brother, died at Laniado Hospital in Netanya.
This morning, difficult and emotional moments were recorded at the ZAKA Search and Rescue Department, when the family members of the missing man, who were on their way to bury their son, passed by and stopped to thank the ZAKA volunteers and all the forces for their great efforts, dedication, and relentless activity throughout the days of the search.
Shai Romano, head of the Netanya ZAKA team in the Sharon region: "Throughout the night, ZAKA volunteer teams from the Netanya team scanned the seashore in an attempt to locate the missing person. At first light this morning, the volunteers, with the assistance of all units and forces, continue to scan the sea using drones and dedicated tools in an attempt to locate the missing person.".
Zvi Hasid, Director General of ZAKA, adds: "ZAKA volunteers are constantly continuing the intensive search, using all means and at all hours of the day, to locate the missing person. All units will continue to operate at the scene in full coordination with the Israel Police and Lehba forces.".
