Israeli Ambassador to the US Yechiel Leiter was interviewed today (Sunday) on the American CBS network.
Leiter said that on Friday, Kayem Needham of the United States State Department conducted a three-way phone call between the Israeli ambassador, the Lebanese ambassador to the United States, and the United States ambassador to Lebanon.
Leiter said that in the tripartite conversation, everyone agreed that Israel and Lebanon 'can live in peace tomorrow' - and reach a real peace agreement within two or three months, if they 'put Hezbollah aside'.
