The Home Front Command's guidelines are eased: The Airports Authority has updated that starting today (Sunday), at noon, 'Exempt and Reserved' package collection activity will gradually resume at Ben Gurion Airport.
The activity is intended for passengers who returned to Israel during the period of Operation 'Roar of the Harrier' - 28.2.26-9.4.26 - and were not able to collect their packages.
The collection process will be carried out in full coordination with the Tax Authority (Customs) and the companies operating the service.
Pickup will only be possible for passengers who have received a pre-arranged appointment for a specific day and time from the relevant companies - Richardson-Heinemann and Shakam Electric - in order to maintain order and safety.
Main guidelines for the public:
* You must arrive only at the pre-arranged time (day and time). Arrival without an appointment will not be permitted.
* Collection will be carried out in person only, upon presentation of a passport and purchase confirmation.
* Collection will not be possible via power of attorney or for multiple passengers without their presence or passports.
* After receiving the package, the transit will be carried out through customs routes as required.
The activity will take place in Sector G and will be accompanied by identification and control measures in accordance with security guidelines.
The Airports Authority emphasizes that the responsibility for coordinating the appointments, updating customers, and responding to public inquiries on this subject lies with the commercial companies that operate the “Exempt and Reserved” service.
In the first phase, congestion is expected in the first few days, and therefore the public is asked to adhere to the instructions and arrive according to the invitation only.
