The chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Boaz Bismuth, commented on the findings after the discussion: "The face of civil aviation in Israel will change from today.".
He said that the Intelligence Subcommittee held a discussion on the FlyDubai flight and the security forces' preparations.
Bismuth added: "All relevant parties will be required to complete the internal examinations and present clear answers." He clarified that the committee "will continue to monitor until the full findings are received.".
Meanwhile, Fly Dubai is considering extending the suspension of flights to Israel by at least another week, in addition to the suspension set until October 15, according to a representative of the Airports Authority.
