Amit Segal, Channel 12's senior political commentator, does not rule out the possibility of moving to Channel 13 - but sets a condition regarding the status of presenter Raviv Drucker on the channel.

According to a report today (Tuesday) by Yasmin Guetta in 'The Marker', Segal said in closed conversations: "I don't rule out going beyond 13, but not when Raviv Drucker is running all the affairs. I want to be a balancing factor in such a channel.".

Over the years, there have been public clashes between Drucker and the staff, with the two fiercely attacking each other on social media.

The news comes a day after it was reported that Assaf Rapaport, the new owner of Channel 13, held at least one meeting with Segal in an attempt to recruit him to the channel.

According to the report, as part of the negotiations, the staff was offered a new political program on Channel 13, along with a signing bonus and an exceptionally high salary.

Network 13 categorically denies the reports of an attempt to recruit Segal.

""The reporter's claims are not true. No attempt was made to recruit Amit Segal to Network 13, and certainly no offer was made," the channel told The Marker.

Amit Segal responded in a tweet on his X account: "My opinion on Drucker is known, but my opinion on Marker is even more well-known. Take everything written in this propaganda pamphlet with limited certainty.".
