Major General Shlomi Binder, head of the IDF Intelligence Directorate, reported last night (Sunday) to the ministers of the Political-Security Cabinet on the progress in the hunt for the terrorists who participated in the October 7 massacre.

According to Binder, approximately 6,000 terrorists participated in the attack, crossed the fence and raided Israeli territory on the morning of the massacre.

In the three years that have passed since then, security forces have eliminated about 4,000 of them, while the hunt for about 2,000 additional terrorists who participated in the massacre and have not yet been eliminated continues.

The data provided by Binder indicates the scope of the pursuit conducted by the IDF and Shin Bet after those who participated in the raid into Israel, the murder and kidnapping of civilians, and the holding of hostages in the Gaza Strip.

During the month of September alone, 70 terrorists were eliminated, including a number of senior Hamas commanders and 17 terrorists who were involved in raids into Israel, kidnapping civilians, and holding hostages.
