Defense Minister Yisrael Katz accepted the IDF's recommendation and ordered a general closure of the Judea and Samaria region and the closure of the Gaza Strip crossings on October 5 and 7 - in accordance with the assessment of the security situation and in light of the anniversary of the events of October 7.
Exceptions to crossings in Judea and Samaria will be granted only in exceptional cases and subject to approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition, the transfer of essential workers from Judea and Samaria in the health sector will be allowed, as well as in cases where the state has a commitment to the High Court of Justice, or for needs related to the seam zone.
