Media personality Dafna Liel spoke during a discussion in the News 12 studio about her daughter Naomi's decision not to use the phone on Shabbat.
The remarks were made during a discussion on 'A Torah of Their Own - The Life of Generation Z: Parties in Desirable Destinations Alongside Torah Lessons and the Parshas Challah'.
""My daughter, Naomi, I would really define her exactly that way, she's both," said Liel. "She decided to go without a phone on Shabbat - an amazing thing, really. I thank the Creator.".
Liel added excitedly: "I thank the Creator, thank you for giving me my daughter one day a week. She comes, 'Mommy wants to do something, Mommy wants to talk.'".
