
The Airports Authority has completed its preparations for the Sukkot holiday, during which heavy passenger traffic is expected at Ben Gurion, Haifa, Ramon airports and at land border crossings.
The operational and service systems are prepared for the expected volume of activity throughout the holiday, while maintaining functional continuity, flight safety, and providing service to the traveling public.
From Tuesday, September 22, Yom Kippur, until Sunday, October 4, the holiday, 1.13 million incoming and outgoing passengers will pass through Ben Gurion Airport.

Approximately 35,000 passengers are expected in Ramon. Approximately 22,000 passengers are expected in Haifa.
Peak days at Ben Gurion Airport
Yesterday, about 105,000 passengers passed through, on 614 flights.
On Thursday, October 1, approximately 100,000 passengers are expected to pass through Ben Gurion Airport.
During the Sukkot holiday, over 90,000 passengers will pass through Ben Gurion Airport every day.
Approximately 157,000 passengers are expected to pass through land border crossings during the holiday.
The Begin (Taba) border crossing is preparing for approximately 50,000 passengers during the holiday.
About 27,000 passengers are expected at the Rabin Crossing in the Arava.
Approximately 50,000 passengers are expected at the Allenby Pass.
About 30,000 passengers are expected to pass through the Jordan River crossing.

Recommendations for travelers during Sukkot
● Check in advance which terminal the flight departs from.
● Check in at home
● Print the luggage tag at the self-service stations.
● Passengers with hand luggage only, who have checked in independently, are invited to use the express lane in Sector W in Terminals 1 and 3.
● Keep up to date with the airlines on any changes.
● It is recommended that reservists and security forces personnel make sure that they have not forgotten any ammunition parts in the bags they bring with them to the flight.
