""For almost three years, IDF fighters and commanders have been waging a just and extremely difficult war against a cruel enemy who slaughtered, raped, and kidnapped children, women, and men on the morning of October 7th," Eisenkot wrote in his X account.
""The choice of Israeli creators to stand on an international stage, present a distorted and one-sided picture and cast moral blame on the fighters who protect the home - is moral blindness, a disconnection from reality and an injury to the State of Israel at a difficult time.".
""Criticism is legitimate in a democratic society, but there is an abysmal distance between it and defaming the reputation of our soldiers in order to reap applause at festivals abroad.".
The Likud were not impressed and continued to lash out at the left: "The Likud movement calls on Gadi Eisenkot to cancel the surplus agreement with the extreme Democratic Party - a party whose members provide backing and support to the creators of the anti-Semitic film 'Naz'a,' which spreads blood libels and defames IDF soldiers around the world.".
""This is Eisenkot's coalition, a combination of the left, the extreme left, and Abbas's Muslim Brotherhood.".
