A welcome phenomenon among the Lithuanian public: More and more new branches of the 'Tiferet Zakenim Levi Yitzhak' kollel are being established all over the country in recent times.

The 'Tiferet Zakenim Levi Yitzchak' kollel, established by the Lubavitcher Rebbe in the pure memory of his father, the holy gaon Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneersohn zt"l, has seen dramatic growth in recent years, following cooperation between the governor Rabbi Levi Leviev and the 'Chabad kollel', and with the assistance of the governor Moti Ben Moshe.

Over two hundred new branches were established within two years throughout the country.

Now, the expansion is also being registered among the Lithuanian public, with the opening of new branches, in honor of the late Rabbi Avraham Yitzhak Schlossberg and in honor of his son Rabbi Eliyahu and his wife Naomi Schlossberg and his family.

The largest branch is located in Bnei Brak and is headed by the grandson of Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky. Additional large branches are located in Beitar Illit, Kiryat Sefer, Ramot, Rehovot, and more.

The expansion of 'Tiferet Zakenim Levi Yitzhak' fulfills the vision of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, who sought to establish kollels for adults in every place and in every sector and sector - including in the Lithuanian community, and as he said in a conversation with Menachem Av 17, 1980, Shabbat Bereishit Ra' (congratulations on Elul): "There are more than enough places where kollels and branches can be opened; and these words are addressed to all groups - Lithuanian, Galician, Lubavitcher, Hasidic or dissenter... Sephardic or Ashkenazi - to Jews everywhere, to all of whom the Torah was given in its entirety.".

The director of the Chabad Kolel, Rabbi Shalom Duchman, expressed his excitement about the continued expansion of the kollels, but emphasized: "We are not at all satisfied and know that it is the Rebbe's holy will that a branch of Tiferet Zakenim be established everywhere, and we all pray that we will be worthy of realizing this holy commandment.".
