In anticipation of the arrival of thousands of Breslov Hasidim from all over the world to the large kibbutz named after Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman during Rosh Hashanah, the Breslov Union presented certificates of appreciation and special gifts to senior government officials in the Cherkassy region, as a token of appreciation for their ongoing cooperation and their efforts to ensure the successful and safe existence of the kibbutz.

The military governor of the Cherkassy region, Igor Tvorets, received a special certificate of appreciation and appreciation signed by the great rabbis of Breslov, Rabbi Yaakov Meir Shechter and Rabbi Moshe Kramer - on behalf of the Breslov Hasidic community around the world. The certificate expressed deep appreciation for his professional and dedicated activity and his concern for arranging all the necessary areas in preparation for the arrival of the worshipers to Uman.

The certificate of appreciation noted that the governor's activities and the cooperation of the district authorities enable the annual prayer gathering to take place as scheduled and in the best possible way. Appreciation was also expressed for the fruitful teamwork between the district government officials and the chairman of the Breslov Union, Rabbi Nathan Ben Nun, who works throughout the year and especially in the run-up to Rosh Hashanah with the local authorities and officials.

The Breslov Union emphasized that cooperation with the district leadership is an important element in the comprehensive preparations for the kibbutz, which requires coordination and arrangement of a long list of issues concerning the safety, security, and well-being of the tens of thousands who come to prostrate themselves at the Zion of Rabbi Nachman and participate in Rosh Hashanah prayers.

""This willingness to help and work together contributes greatly to the well-being, safety and security of the tens of thousands of worshippers and to the success of the entire event," the certificate of appreciation reads. At the end, community representatives congratulated the governor that the right of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov will stand with him and his family, and that he will be blessed with a year of prosperity and success, sound health, happiness and honor.

Alongside this, the chairman of the Breslov Union, Rabbi Nathan Ben Nun, presented a special gift to Alexander Shevtin, head of the Department of Culture and History in the Cherkassy region, on the occasion of the New Year. The gift was given as an expression of gratitude and appreciation for the assistance and cooperation with the Hasidic representatives in the framework of preparations for the large kibbutz.

The Breslov Union noted that continuous contact with senior district officials and local authorities is helping to advance the extensive preparations for the absorption of the masses in Uman. The activity includes ongoing coordination with the relevant authorities, with the aim of enabling the worshipping public to hold Rosh Hashanah prayers in an orderly and safe manner, even in light of the special challenges involved in organizing the event this year.

The chairman of the Breslov Union, Rabbi Nathan Ben Nun, expressed his appreciation to the district's senior officials on behalf of the Breslov Hasidim and said that the substantive and ongoing cooperation is of great importance to the success of the preparations. The Breslov Union added that they hope that the good relations will continue in the future and will help to hold the annual aliyah of tens of thousands of Hasidim while maintaining security and order, in honor of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov and for the sake of the tens of thousands of worshippers.
