At the end of the hunt, the terrorist was eliminated.
MDA teams and military medical personnel who were called to the farm provided medical treatment to a Jew who was moderately to severely injured by the stabbings.
The wounded man, who was being treated, recalled the moments when he was attacked. "A Palestinian terrorist arrived at the farm in a commercial vehicle, asked where my weapon was, and then got out with a knife, attacked me, stabbed me several times and ran away.".
Emergency medical technician Aviel Mamelia said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a young man about 20 years old, fully conscious, with several stab wounds to his body. We provided him with initial medical treatment together with an IDF medical team, and he was taken to the hospital in moderate to serious condition.".
At the same time, security forces began a hunt for the terrorist. Forces from the Duvdevan unit, the Nahal patrol, and combat reconnaissance fighters participated in the pursuit. The IDF imposed a cordon on the villages in the area.
The terrorist, whose identity was revealed after his cell phone was found at the scene of the attack, was eliminated at the end of the manhunt: IDF forces located the vehicle, the company commander attempted to make contact, the terrorist tried to stab him - and was eliminated.
The IDF said: "IDF forces located the terrorist near his vehicle in the area of the village of Idna. The terrorist attempted to stab the fighters, and a company commander from Battalion 411 responded by shooting at him and eliminating him. IDF forces will continue to operate to thwart terrorism and maintain security in the Judea and Samaria sector.".
A spokesperson for the Beilinson Medical Center said: A man in his teens injured in the attack in Samaria arrived at the trauma room in Beilinson. His condition is described as moderate-serious.

Samaria Council Head Yossi Dagan called on the IDF to launch a large-scale military operation in response to the attack. "This is a very difficult attack. I expect a full cordon in the area, to launch a large-scale military operation, to go door to door and collect the weapons, to crush the infrastructure of the supporters of terror. I strengthen the hands of IDF soldiers and the IDF command and pray for the recovery of the wounded.".
""I demand that all the roads in the area be closed immediately, that the terrorist be captured, and that everyone who helped him be held accountable. The settlement in Samaria and all of Israel will not surrender to terror. We will continue to build, to strengthen ourselves, to hold on to the land, and to build Samaria.".
Head of the Binyamin Regional Council and Chairman of the Yesha Council, Yisrael Gantz: "The severe attack on the Maoz Yehuda farm is another reminder that the farms and the settlers who hold on to the land are at the forefront of the struggle for the security of the State of Israel. The terrorists understand very well the significance of the Jewish presence in the area, and therefore they are trying to harm precisely those whom they protect with their bodies.
""I pray for the recovery of the wounded and strengthen the security forces that are currently working to capture the terrorist. A tough and aggressive hand is required in the face of terrorism, and at the same time our response must be to continue strengthening the farms, settlements and Israeli hold on the territory. Terrorism must not determine where Jews will live in the Land of Israel.".
