The deceased, zt"l, was born in 5711 to his father, Rabbi Mordechai Meir Matityahu Weisspisch, zt"l, and his mother, Mrs. Shoshana, a.h.

In his youth he studied at the Grodna Yeshiva in Ashdod, where he learned Torah from the yeshiva's leaders. After his marriage, he made his home in the city of Ashdod - where he served as a teacher in the 'Hader Rav'.

His acquaintances say that the deceased, the late Ztz"l, was humble, walked by the roadside, and many were saved by his blessings.

His funeral left today at 10:30 from his home on 7 Chafetz Chaim Street, Ashdod, via Talmud Torah 'Heder HaRav' on Rema Street, to the Ashdod Haredi cemetery - where he will be buried.

He left behind a blessed generation of righteous people, sons and daughters, sons-in-law and many descendants who continue his path.

One of his sons, Rabbi Yehuda Weisfish, is the chairman of the 'Union of Yeshiva Students'.
