06:29 – The military secretary updates the prime minister for the first time that there is an attack from the Gaza Strip.
06:44 – Second update call with the military secretary. The prime minister asks why nothing came up in the intelligence he was given, asks to check whether a large-scale mobilization of reserves is required and whether it is possible to eliminate the Hamas leadership.
07:30 – The Prime Minister leaves for the village, after preparing the Prime Minister's convoy.
During the trip - the Prime Minister speaks with the Minister of Defense, who informs him that "there is no clear situational picture." The Prime Minister leads a conference on assessing the situation in the pit, which he chairs.
Around 8:00 AM, the Prime Minister arrives at the compound (according to Shin Bet records, 8:22 AM).
08:40 - The Minister of Defense convenes the Chief of Staff and the head of the Shin Bet to formulate a situational picture ahead of the discussion with the Prime Minister.
08:30-09:30 - The Prime Minister requests and receives intelligence updates and ongoing updates from the field from the Military Secretariat staff.
09:47 – The Prime Minister's Military Secretary first receives the situation assessment document submitted by the Shin Bet head at 05:15 in the morning.
09:55 – The Prime Minister conducts a situation assessment in the pit with the participation of the Minister of Defense, Chief of Staff, Head of the Mossad, Head of the Shin Bet, Head of the National Security Agency, and Head of the AMTZ.
The Prime Minister directs a hermetic closure of the border line to prevent the passage of hostages to Gaza and the continued entry of terrorists, rejects the IDF's recommendation for partial reservist mobilization and directs full mobilization, and orders the lifting of a war order and preparations for the northern front.
