Attempted attack on IDF forces in southern Lebanon: During the night (Wednesday), two explosive drones were launched by the terrorist organization Hezbollah towards IDF fighters operating in the security zone in the Ali Taher Ridge area.

The forces that detected the threat opened fire on one of the drones and were able to successfully intercept it.

No casualties were reported among the forces in the incident.

In response to the launches, the IDF launched a targeted attack on terrorist infrastructure attributed to Hezbollah in the Nabatia region in southern Lebanon.

According to the IDF statement, the infrastructure that was attacked was used by the terrorist organization's operatives to plan and execute terrorist plots intended to harm forces operating in the security area as well as citizens of the State of Israel - and the operation was carried out in order to remove an immediate threat.

Tonight, for the first time since June, alarms were activated in the area of the bridge communities, Ma'ayan Baruch and Kfar Yuval in the Galilee Finger, following concerns about the intrusion of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Shortly thereafter, the Home Front Command announced that the incident was over and that it was possible to leave the protected areas.

The IDF said this morning: "Following the alerts that were activated during the night regarding the intrusion of hostile aircraft in several areas in the north of the country, after an initial investigation, it appears that a number of interceptors were apparently launched at a false target.".
