Zehut Party Chairman Moshe Feiglin, who is holding talks to unite with Smotrich ahead of the elections, was interviewed this evening (Monday) on the "Patriots" program, hosted by Yinon Magal, on Channel 14 - and said that he will demand that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu head the Defense Ministry.

Feiglin emphasized in the conversation that his main motive is to prevent a repeat of the events of October 7. "We are doing all this so as not to lose votes in the right-wing bloc, we do not want a left-wing government.".

When asked about his loyalty to the bloc, he replied firmly: "It is clear that we are partners in the right-wing bloc and we will recommend Netanyahu.".

During the interview, Feiglin revealed the enormous efforts he says he has been investing in connecting the right-wing parties for over a year. "As early as August 5th, we turned to everyone - Smotrich, Ben-Gvir, Winter. We said, 'Let's unite now.' We invested an entire campaign and a lot of money in this.".

Regarding the current negotiations with the Religious Zionist Party, Feiglin claimed that he was offering an especially generous offer to ensure the union: "Religious Zionism brings in five seats at best. We gave them seven places in the top ten. I will be in second place, and the rest of the Zehut list will start from eighth place. Who else would make such a concession?""
