Towards the start of the 2017 school year: The Population and Immigration Authority published today (Sunday) the lists of the most common names among new students entering first grade - and now you can already see which names will be featured on the notebooks.
In the general sector among boys: Muhammad continues to confidently lead the list and take first place. Yosef and Adam also maintain their strong place at the top, followed by David and Omar. Ariel is also a popular name in the top ten, alongside Daniel, Lavi and Eitan. Ahmed closes the list in tenth place.
