National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited Damon Prison in recent weeks, where he received a review from the prison commanders and heard firsthand from the prison's fighters.

The minister later toured the wing where female terrorists are being held - including female terrorists belonging to the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.

The minister entered the cells and heard complaints from the prisoners about the stricter conditions of imprisonment and the denial of benefits that were customary in the past. The prisoners claimed that their conditions of imprisonment had deteriorated significantly and become "very bad.".

Minister Ben Gvir replied to them: "Our hostages had no shampoo and they had no conditions. I am proud that we managed to reduce the conditions of the terrorists to the bare minimum. The summer camps in the prisons are over.".

Later, the minister also visited the isolation cells and was impressed by the strict confinement conditions there.

Minister Ben Gvir: "I came to see the implementation of our policy up close. I heard the prison fighters and also the complaints of the terrorists. We do not apologize - anyone who harms Israeli citizens will not receive a summer camp in prison. Terrorists will receive the minimum required by law, and no more.".

Captivity survivor Rom Breslavsky responded to a video posted on social media, writing: "I was kidnapped by her organization, Islamic Jihad, and she allows herself to talk too much. Rest assured, Ben Gvir, they didn't talk to us like that. God willing, in your next conversation with her, you'll put a face to her.".
