The Jerusalem District Planning and Building Committee has approved for submission the evacuation-construction plan on Carmon Street in the Beit Hakerem neighborhood. As part of the project, promoted by the companies Capital Gold and Rothstein, four old residential buildings containing 88 apartments will be demolished, and 261 new housing units will be built in their place.
The complex is located centrally in the neighborhood, near the Begin axis, the hotel complex, and the 'Begin Roofing' layout area.
The architectural design of Capital Gold is the responsibility of architect Michal Della Pergola, who emphasizes meticulous planning in which a great deal of thought was invested, while providing advanced urban solutions. As part of the plan, special emphasis was placed on planning particularly large and spacious apartments, with only 4 apartments to be built on each floor of the tower, and each apartment will enjoy at least two directions of air.
The architect: "The modern design combines advanced facades and hanging balconies, alongside rich environmental development at ground level. In accordance with the District Committee's guidelines, the building lines on the upper floors of the tower will be reduced in order to create a narrow structure and open urban space.".
Capital Gold, which has been active in the Jerusalem real estate market for over a decade, has a portfolio of projects in central neighborhoods in the city, including Ramat Eshkol, Romema, and the German Colony. The Carmon project marks the company's first entry into the Beit Hakerem neighborhood, while implementing professional standards tailored to the urban fabric.
Capital Gold management: "We express deep satisfaction with the district committee's decision and thank the veteran apartment owners for their complete trust in us throughout. We appreciate the fruitful cooperation with the local authority and planning authorities. The project on Carmon Street constitutes an important milestone in the company's activities, and we are committed to continuing to lead the field of urban renewal in the capital with responsibility and professional work.".
