The gaps between the parties of the left bloc: Recently, a "reprimand conversation" took place between Yisrael Beytenu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman and "Democrats" Chairman Yair Golan.

According to a report by Michael Shemesh on Channel 13 this evening (Monday), Lieberman - who refuses to be photographed with Yair Golan - called him last Thursday. In a conversation described as "challenging" for the two, Lieberman demanded that he "stick to issues that are in consensus and avoid controversial statements.".

Lieberman explained to Golan that the entire bloc could be "damaged" following controversial statements by the "Democrat" candidates, and conveyed a message to him to exercise restraint in the near future.

Lieberman even asked Golan to stick to a central and general message page, which concerns broader problems.

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana responded on his X account: "Yesterday Eisenkot rebuked Mansour Abbas; today Lieberman rebuked Yair Golan.

""The goal is clear: to prevent Israeli citizens from hearing extremist positions before the elections - in order to implement them after Election Day.".

""It will be interesting to see if Yair Golan will follow Liberman's lead. Either way, the truth is simple - Eisenkot cannot have a government without Mansour Abbas and Yair Golan. Don't say you didn't know.".
