Yesterday (Monday), the IDF and Shin Bet attacked and destroyed five Hamas weapons depots and a launch site in several strikes throughout the Gaza Strip.
The warehouses that were attacked stored rockets, weapons, explosives, grenades, and other combat equipment that Hamas terrorists used to advance terrorist plots against our forces in the Gaza Strip.
The warehouses that were attacked were set up inside mosques and next to humanitarian infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
This is another example of Hamas' cynical use of civilian infrastructure, including mosques and humanitarian infrastructure, in violation of international law and cynical exploitation of the civilian population.
""The attacks in the Gaza Strip constitute a clear warning. The IDF and Shin Bet will not accept terrorist activity of any kind against the citizens of the State of Israel and will continue to act resolutely against any threat and take the necessary steps to maintain the security of Israeli citizens," the IDF spokesman said in a statement.
