The left-wing party 'Yashar! With Eisenkot' against Shas: This morning (Sunday), the party, through attorney Uri Haberman, sent a warning letter to Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri and the party, demanding that the propaganda video that Shas launched last night be removed by 11:00 AM, because it claims it violates the Elections Law and makes prohibited use of IDF soldiers.

The letter claims that the video, which was published on Deri's X account under the title "Father's Life," creates the impression that the IDF identifies with the Shas party - something that is prohibited by law.

The letter further claims that the video combines IDF soldiers alongside political messages and presents a figure according to which "over 30,000 soldiers and regular personnel voted for Shas in the last elections, according to official data.".

The Left Party claimed that Shas had promoted legislation throughout the war years that was intended to expand exemption from military service, while party chairman Aryeh Deri declared that he was proud of his family members who were not serving - "a statement that casts the entire film in a ridiculous and offensive light to the serving public.".

In addition, the party claims that the video also violates the provisions of the Elections Law by showing Shas' voting letters, even though, according to the claim, the period in which the law permits their use as part of election propaganda has not yet passed.

Yeshar demands that the video be removed immediately.

The Shas party said in response to the Yeshar party: "The Shas movement has been proud to represent tens of thousands of soldiers, reservists and regulars, alongside Torah scholars, for over 40 years. We do not need a seal of approval from Eisenkot, which is currently busy qualifying Mansour Abbas and the Muslim Brotherhood as partners in his government, while denying the definition of the State of Israel as a Jewish state.".

""The video in question does not use any IDF emblem. It shows a family member returning home from the base in civilian clothes, with the aim of refuting the false propaganda, among others from Eisenkot and his party, as if Shas supports evasion.".
