Thousands of yeshiva students and kollel elders are today in an unprecedented situation, with the sword of the draft decree hanging over them, and we all feel the persecution against us every day, and it is no secret that the concerns and difficulties are very distressing and burdensome, and the familiar methods of intercession are ineffective, due to the wickedness of the authorities.

Maran HaGaradan Lando participated this evening (Tuesday) in the 'Talmud in His Hand' event for thousands of yeshivot students in Beit Shemesh.

His full load:

""With the permission of the Marans and Rabbis. How heartwarming it is to see here in the city of Beit Shemesh, a city of tens of thousands of Haredim, for the sake of God, may they multiply, where thousands of yeshiva students who are immersed in the study of Torah with study and effort gather, and put their best innovations on paper, and for this it is fitting to make a Yoma Teva for the Rabbis.".

Our Rebbe, the Prophet, encouraged many, both in writing and orally, to write down what was learned, and he himself was a great Rabbi who made great efforts and invested a lot in writing down what was learned.

There are many benefits to writing Torah novellas, benefits in the methods of study themselves, also in the satisfaction that the learners have, and in remembering things. In writing, there are many levels and different styles, but first and foremost when studying a subject, when writing the summary of the methods and the calculations of the methods, the calculations of the shekel and tarya in the Rishonim, and so on, the subject becomes clearer and more refined, like a term in a box.

Of course, it is customary in yeshivot to write shtikala Torah, and this is how the important young men have always done it. There are different styles in this too, but one must be aware that one understands what one is writing, and writes in a way that others can understand. This is a real test to check the novelty, or the difficulties and evidence that are raised, whether they are understood or not. There are those who can also establish a fellowship for writing together, when two people write together, and each brings his or her part. This develops the Torah novelty in a special way.

There is another thing that is very necessary in the methods of study, one should also write short notes, or a short proof here and there, it could be a specific topic or a scholarly investigation, and in studying for years, one finds more proof and more evidence and more questions, and after that an entire pamphlet can come out of this topic. The Reka in the Shas issue would write short notes, and he did not necessarily intend to say a complete work in each note, but that was his way of studying, to note in the Gemara issue every Gemara or evidence that he came across, it is very beneficial for study.".

At this point, the head of the yeshiva focused on the draft decrees that are hovering over the Torah world: "Thousands of yeshiva students and kollel elders are today in an unprecedented situation, with the sword of the draft decree hanging over them, and we all feel the persecution against us every day, and it is no secret that the concerns and difficulties are very distressing and burdensome, and the familiar methods of intercession are ineffective, due to the wickedness of the authorities.".

And on the other hand, on the contrary, thousands of Torah students continue their Talmud with even greater intensity, without interruption or respite, and accept the yoke of Torah upon themselves in a way that is astonishing to the heart. How much glory in Heaven is multiplied in this, and how many eternal possessions in the Holy Torah are acquired through study in such a difficult time.

Be strong and courageous, strengthen one another, do not be afraid and do not be afraid, persevere in your studies and do not be afraid of anything, for the Torah is a defense and a shield - and first and foremost, it protects the world from all the evil plots to hinder the steps of the world and the world.

Holy Torah, please beg me, for your people, ask for mercy. Raise a cry for your children - my brothers, the kollelim and the yeshiva students. Raise your voice before the Giver of the Torah, that the Torah may not be trampled upon, and that the honor of the Torah and its teachings may be exalted and exalted before the eyes of all the inhabitants of the land.

The duty of effort now, especially in the days of mercy and forgiveness that come upon us for good, is to increase in prayer and cry out to the One who is merciful, that He may have mercy on us. And let us all cry out together, "Please, God, save us, please, God, make us successful.".

"May we be worthy to study Torah without any distractions, and may a Redeemer come to Zion quickly in our days, Amen.".
