The Central Bureau of Statistics' social survey data for 2025, published today (Tuesday), indicate high satisfaction among parents with the educational frameworks in which their children study.
According to the data, 911% of parents of children in pre-schools and 891% of parents of children in compulsory schools are satisfied with their children's kindergarten. In elementary schools, the rate of satisfied parents is 801%, and in secondary education, 791%.
The data also indicate high satisfaction with the direct contact with the educational teams: 931% of parents of pre-school children and 931% of parents of kindergarten children are satisfied with the attitude of the kindergarten teacher and assistant. In elementary schools, 851% of parents are satisfied with the attitude of the teachers, and in secondary education, 811%.
Even in the central question - whether the educational framework meets the child's needs, a positive picture emerges: 93% of the parents of kindergarten children report that the kindergarten meets their child's needs to a great extent or to some extent, as do 82% of the parents of elementary school students and 85% of the parents of secondary school students.
The survey also indicates similar satisfaction among population groups: in elementary education, 791% of Jewish parents and 801% of Arab parents are satisfied with the school, and in secondary education, the rates are 791% and 811%, respectively.
Compared to the previous decade, there has also been an improvement in the perception of the system's equality: 491% of the public now believe that the education system provides services equally to all population groups, compared to 421% in 2015.
The 2025 social survey was conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics among 6,452 people aged 20 and over, representing approximately 6.3 million residents.
The survey examined the attitudes of the general public toward the education system, as well as the attitudes of parents regarding the educational frameworks in which their children study.
