Baruch Dayan, the truth teller: The activist Rabbi Yaakov Aharon Farber, z"l, of the Belza Hasidim, a resident of Givat Ze'ev, passed away this evening (Sunday) at the age of 32 - after years of suffering and anguish.
The deceased, z"l, was born to his father, Yablhat"a, Rabbi Moshe Zvi Farber, of the Belza Hasidim in Montreal, Canada, and to his mother, Mrs. Chaya Tzipora, may God have mercy on her, the daughter of Yablhat"a, Rabbi Moshe Schwartz, of the elders of the Belza Hasidim in Jerusalem.
As a child, he studied Talmud Torah at the Belza in Montreal. As a large yeshiva, he studied at the Belza Yeshiva in Ashdod.
When he reached his peak, he married his wife, the daughter of Rabbi Zosha Wichman. After his marriage, he lived in Jerusalem, and then moved to Givat Ze'ev, where he served for two years as the director general of the community's institutions.
To support himself, in recent years he has initiated the Haredi "Maalot Tzur" track for integrating Haredi soldiers into the IDF - without uniforms.
He left behind his wife and six children - the youngest of whom is three months old.
