Rabbi Aharon Aberman, chairman of the Lev Malka organization, which helps children with cancer and their families, held a working meeting with Prof. Yehoshua Schroeder, director of the spine surgery unit at Hadassah Medical Center.

During the meeting, Prof. Schroeder reviewed the unit's activities and the medical care provided to patients dealing with diseases, injuries, and complex spinal conditions.

The two discussed the challenges facing patients and their families, both during the diagnosis and treatment period and during recovery and rehabilitation.

Rabbi Aberman presented to Prof. Schroeder the extensive activities of the "Lev Malka" organization, which accompanies patients and families in the most complex moments and assists them in receiving guidance, advice, and a supportive environment in the healthcare system.

The meeting emphasized the great importance of connecting the knowledge and professional experience of the medical teams with the activities of the charitable organizations, which are intimately familiar with the needs of patients and their families. This connection makes it possible to provide the patient not only with advanced medical care, but also with personal and sensitive support along the way.

At the end of the meeting, Rabbi Aberman expressed his appreciation to Prof. Schroeder and the unit's staff for their dedication to patients. The parties agreed to continue to stay in touch, with the aim of promoting collaborations that will assist patients in need of treatment in the field of spinal surgery.
