
This morning (Sunday), ZAKA volunteers operated in a complex and difficult scene in a public garden on Hatfutsot Street in the city of Ramat Gan, where Rabbi Eliyahu Yisrael Abba Shaul, 59, of Bnei Brak, was found dead under unclear circumstances.
After the dedicated care of ZAKA volunteers at the scene alongside the MAZPF forces, his body was transferred for further treatment to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine.
Now, after efforts by the legal division at ZAKA, together with ZAKA Director General Zvi Hasid, ZAKA Chief of Staff Yechiel Goldman, and with the assistance of the institute's rabbi, Rabbi Asher Landau, and the institute's staff - the deceased has been released for burial.
It is worth noting the investigation teams in the Dan region and at the Bnei Brak station, who did everything they could to investigate the incident, while maintaining the dignity of the deceased.
A ZAKA ambulance is transporting the deceased for further burial and the funeral, which will leave his home at 4:00 PM on Ben Zakkai Street, to the cemetery in the city of Elad, where he will be buried.
