
The late Moshe Galinsky, a 7-year-old boy, was killed at noon (Thursday) when he was hit by a bus on Rabbi Akiva Street in the Brachfeld neighborhood in the Haredi city of Modiin Illit, as he was on his way home after finishing his studies at the Talmud Torah school.
Rescue forces called to the scene on Rabbi Akiva Street, at the corner of Abaye and Rava, around 12:30, had no choice but to declare him dead.
The child is the son of Rabbi Aharon Galinsky from the Brachfeld neighborhood.
Eliezer Hess, David Cohen and Ido Ashraf, United Hatzalah paramedics: "This is a difficult scene - a child pedestrian who was hit by a bus. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
""United Hatzalah resilience teams were operating at the scene due to the nature of the incident.".
Yedidia Hachmon and Moshe Cooperman, MDA paramedics who arrived at the scene, said: "We saw the child unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with very serious injuries to his body after being hit by a bus. We performed medical examinations, but unfortunately his injuries were very serious and we had no choice but to declare him dead.".
The Israel Police have begun investigating the circumstances of the serious accident. "Police officers from Modi'in Illit Station are at the scene of the accident and the traffic accident investigators of the Shi'a District have begun investigating its circumstances.".
ZAKA volunteers from the Shi'a District - Modi'in Illit team were called to the scene, and took care of the dignity of the deceased and collected all the findings.
Thanks to ZAKA's activity at the scene, his body was released for burial.

His funeral will leave at 4:00 PM from the Breslov Hasidic Cloister in Berchfeld towards the Mount of Olives.
