Joy in the Hasidic courtyard: On June 17th, the police received a report of a break-in at a Chernobyl Hasidic synagogue on Aharonovitz Street in Bnei Brak.
During the break-in, silverware worth 120,000 shekels, of sentimental value, was stolen from the scene.
Bnei Brak police officers and forensic personnel immediately began conducting investigations and collecting evidence from the scene.
During the investigation, while carrying out many and varied operative actions, the police were able to reach the location where the items, which were stolen during the outbreak, were hidden.
The items important to Hasidism, which are of great value to them, were handed over to the police and will be returned to the synagogue after examination.
