Maran HaGarad Landau attacked the government and the judicial system last night (Monday), at a special dinner held at the home of Governor Meir Wallmark in Pipetown, New York.

Rabbi Lando has been in the US for more than a week, as part of an emergency campaign by the 'World Torah Fund', which aims to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for the world of Torah - due to the halting of yeshiva budgets by order of the High Court of Justice.

The burden of Maran the Great Lando:

""In the Land of Israel, the great and terrible difficulties we have there from the authorities and the judicial system, and all those who persecute the world of Torah, the yeshivas, the young men who study - they harass us in all things, cut off our bread, and do everything possible to make them suffer. May God help us get rid of them.

But now we are in a difficult situation, and we have come to our dear brothers, the Israelites in the United States and all their colonies, to help and assist us.

All of us, the entire people of Israel, are one body, one soul. All worship God, study His holy Torah. God will help you to participate in all your possibilities, if above, you too will be above and all good will be yours.

In this you will benefit and also encourage the world of Torah in the Holy Land, which is in a situation where they are being squeezed. And yet they study, and engage in Torah, with dedication and study, and through your actions, in addition to the great help we have come to you for, it encourages their spirit, gives them strength... the spirit of life, to continue onward and forth.

Blessed are you! Blessed are you! That you are engaged in this matter. Blessed are you and blessed are we, that all of us, the entire people of Israel, are engaged in the Holy Torah, out of exercise, out of study, out of devotion. And in this we will hope for the coming complete redemption and say Amen.".
