There are songs that you love from the first moment. And there are songs that never let you rest. That's what happened to Yaron Bar when he heard Yossi Green's "Veda Shel'Atid," based on the words of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov.
""I felt that the words told what I've been going through since I knew myself," Yaron shares. "I study and study, but often I feel like most things are forgotten. Suddenly I heard the words of Rabbi Nachman, and I felt at ease.".
The more he returned to the song, the stronger his desire to record it himself grew. According to him, Yossi Green's melody manages to express the lyrics so precisely that he simply contacted Yossi and asked for his blessing to record the song himself, and Green, moved by the request, referred him to Eli Klein. The two met in the studio, and within two hours the new version was ready.
