The shocking and horrifying tragedy in Bnei Brak. Rosh Yeshivah HaGerma Hirsch arrived at noon - the eve of Shavuot - to comfort mourners at the home of the 13-year-old orphaned son of the late Rabbi Yishai Pur, who was murdered yesterday at the 'Kollel Chazon Ish' in Bnei Brak.
The posak, Harsha Stern, also arrived alongside the Rosh Yeshiva.
The rabbis strengthened and encouraged the orphaned boy, and wept when the boy told about the murder.
Afterwards, they consoled the widow. The rabbis also gave the man their personal phone number, so that he could talk to them at any time he wanted.
The late Rabbi Yishai Pur, zt"l, was murdered while studying in a fraternity with his only son, who was born after many years of waiting.
