Hundreds of protesters from the Jerusalem faction blocked the entrance to Jerusalem this evening (Wednesday) in protest against the arrest of Haredi "evaders".
Due to the protest, light rail traffic in Jerusalem was blocked in both directions near the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood.
The police and Border Guard soldiers were called to the scene. Within a short time, the demonstration was declared illegal and the police began to forcibly evacuate the demonstrators.

Violent clashes developed between the police and the protesters.
After two hours of blockades and clashes, the official demonstration ended, after the leaders of the demonstrators declared, "And he will return to the Talmud." The roads were reopened to traffic.
