A 17-year-old young man was moderately injured on Saturday afternoon as a result of an iron bar being stuck in his leg in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood in Jerusalem.
Brothers Yechiel and Shlomi Gurfein, Shabbat Torah scholars for United Hatzalah: "This is a 17-year-old young man who was injured in his limbs by an iron bar that was stuck in him after, according to passersby, he slipped from a fence he was climbing.
""We provided him with medical treatment at the scene, which included bandaging and stopping the bleeding, and then he was taken to a hospital for further treatment, with his condition described as moderate.".
On Shabbat afternoon, United Hatzalah medical teams provided first aid to a 9-year-old boy who was seriously injured on Mifal Shas Street in the Haredi city of Beitar Illit.
Moshe Fordsham and Ezra Gottlieb, Shabbat guards from the United Hatzalah rescue force unit: "We were told at the scene that he climbed a ladder on an amusement park and fell from a height of 4 meters, and as a result, he was seriously injured in his upper body.
""We provided him with medical treatment that included bandages and immobilizations, and then he was taken to the trauma room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where his condition is described as serious.".
